Our Puppy Training Program is designed to set your young dog up for a lifetime of confidence, structure, and understanding. At High Impact K9 Training, we focus on shaping balanced, engaged puppies through purposeful training — not overwhelming them. Every session builds trust, communication, and a strong foundation that prepares your puppy for future obedience and real-world reliability.

Your puppy will learn:

  • 🧱 Structure & Routine – Developing consistency through calm leadership and clear boundaries.

  • 🎯 Engagement & Focus – Teaching your puppy to connect and work with you, not against distractions.

  • 🐾 Socialization – Controlled exposure to people, dogs, and new environments to build confidence.

  • 🏠 Kennel & Potty Training – Creating structure and independence while preventing unwanted habits.

  • 💡 Obedience Foundations – Laying the groundwork for future commands, focus, and self-control.

🐶 This program is recommended for puppies between 4–7 months of age to ensure optimal learning and development.

Off-Leash Obedience — Freedom Through Control

Our Off-Leash Obedience Program is designed for dogs that have successfully completed and passed our On-Leash Obedience Test, ensuring they’re ready for the next level of communication and control. This course builds absolute reliability, focus, and handler connection — allowing your dog to experience true freedom without sacrificing structure or safety.

Through balanced methodology and relationship-based training, we teach both dog and handler how to maintain engagement, discipline, and teamwork no matter the distance or distractions. This program emphasizes communication, confidence, and mutual trust — the foundation of all advanced obedience.

Your dog will learn:

  • 🤝 Handler Value Building – Strengthening the bond and trust between dog and handler in all environments.

  • 🎯 Advanced Focus & Control – Maintaining engagement even under heavy distractions or high-drive situations.

  • 🦮 Off-Leash Heel – Perfecting communication and precision without reliance on a leash.

  • 📣 Reliable Recall – Ensuring your dog comes every time, no matter the environment or stimulus.

  • 🧠 Understanding Training Aids – Learning the safe, effective use of tools that reinforce reliability and safety.

  • 💤 Distance Down-Stays – Building patience, impulse control, and mental discipline at extended ranges.

  • 🚫 Distraction Neutrality – Teaching your dog to ignore environmental triggers and maintain focus on command.

⚡ This program is reserved for dogs who have completed our On-Leash Obedience program and passed evaluation for off-leash readiness.
📋 Not recommended for dogs under 14 months of age unless pre-approved by the trainer.
🐾 Dogs must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the On-Leash Obedience Test to qualify. The test is free of charge and available by appointment.

Our Reactivity Rehabilitation Program is designed for dogs experiencing mild to severe reactivity, addressing the root cause — not just the symptoms. At High Impact K9 Training, we believe reactivity is not a label, but a language — a way for dogs to express discomfort, insecurity, or confusion. Through patience, structure, and psychology-driven training, we work to turn reactivity into calm, confident behavior. Reactivity can stem from age, confidence level, or neurological predispositions, and it presents in several forms: ⚡ Excitement Reactivity – Dogs that become overstimulated or frustrated due to excess energy or anticipation. 😨 Fear-Based Reactivity – Dogs who respond defensively due to insecurity, poor social experiences, or environmental stress. 🔥 Aggression-Based Reactivity – Dogs who display offensive responses from frustration, resource guarding, or protection instincts. Our approach focuses on clear communication, engagement, and rebuilding trust between dog and handler. Every program is customized around the individual dog’s mindset, sensitivity, and learning pace — creating not just behavioral change, but lasting emotional balance. This program focuses on: 🎯 Engagement Building – Strengthening handler focus to redirect reactivity into productive communication. ⚖️ Balanced Pressure Understanding – Teaching dogs to respond appropriately to both positive and negative pressure with clarity, not conflict. 🧠 Stimulus Engagement/Disengagement – Helping dogs learn when to focus and when to release, mastering control in reactive moments. 🚫 Trigger Neutrality – Building tolerance and calmness around triggers through structured exposure and guidance. 🤝 Handler Communication – Teaching handlers how to read body language, timing, and influence emotion through presence. 💡 Canine Psychology & Internal Value – Understanding the why behind the behavior to create lasting behavioral transformation. 🐾 This program is ideal for dogs showing signs of leash reactivity, environmental overstimulation, fear-based responses, or controlled aggression. Every case begins with a behavioral evaluation to determine the best course of action.

Reactivity Rehabilitation — Rebuilding Confidence Through Understanding

General Obedience & Lifestyle Course — “Structure Creates Freedom.”

Our General Obedience & Lifestyle Course embodies our core training philosophy: structure creates freedom. This program is designed to strengthen the bond between dog and handler through engagement, understanding, and clear communication. We believe training should never be one-size-fits-all — every dog learns differently, and our approach adapts to each individual’s mindset, confidence level, and learning style.

At High Impact K9 Training, we prioritize positive reinforcement to build confidence and drive, while implementing balanced communication through fair and intentional pressure when needed. Our goal is to help both dog and handler speak a shared language rooted in respect, clarity, and understanding.

This course builds obedience that translates seamlessly from training sessions to real life. Whether your dog struggles with consistency, focus, or overstimulation, we lay a foundation of structure and engagement that fosters long-term success, harmony, and control.
