My name is Lauren , and I’m the trainer behind High Impact K9 Training. My journey started long before dogs — I began as a horse trainer, learning the importance of timing, communication, and leadership with another highly intuitive animal. That foundation shaped the calm, structured, and relationship-based approach I use in all my K9 work today.
I’ve spent the past six years training dogs and five years competing in K9 sports, proudly representing my dogs at state, national, and world championship levels — and earning placements on the podium along the way. Over those years, I’ve studied K9 psychology in depth, building my training philosophy around understanding how dogs think, learn, and communicate. I believe true training goes far beyond commands — it’s about building trust, confidence, and balance between handler and dog.
As a certified K9 nutritionist, I also know how vital proper nutrition is to a dog’s performance, behavior, and overall wellbeing. Every aspect of my work is about helping dogs reach their fullest potential — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I’m passionate about helping owners create stronger, healthier relationships with their dogs. Our approach focuses on clarity, communication, and consistency. Dogs receive daily, individualized training sessions tailored to their temperament, learning style, and goals. From foundational obedience to advanced off-leash control, every command is taught through engagement, psychology, and relationship — not repetition or force.
Throughout their stay, dogs are exposed to public settings and real-world distractions, learning how to remain calm, neutral, and responsive no matter the environment. Whether it’s working around other dogs, people, or urban noise, our goal is to create a dog that listens anywhere, anytime — because obedience doesn’t belong just in a training field.

Upon graduation, owners are guided through a detailed handler transition session, ensuring that the structure and leadership their dog learned continue seamlessly at home.

Overnight Boarding — A Farm Retreat for Every Dog
At High Impact K9 Training, our overnight boarding experience is far more than a place for your dog to sleep — it’s a structured, enriching vacation designed to give every guest comfort, play, and peace of mind. Unlike our Board and Train program, this service focuses purely on relaxation and enjoyment, allowing your dog to unwind in a calm, controlled environment while still maintaining structure and routine.
Nestled on our beautiful 5-acre farm, your dog will be surrounded by the soothing sights and sounds of nature — from horses grazing and sheep roaming to the gentle hum of farm life. Each area of the property is thoughtfully sectioned for dogs, ensuring safe exploration, freedom to move, and plenty of supervised playtime. Unlike large, high-volume boarding facilities, our intimate setup means every dog gets personalized attention, individualized care, and the peaceful experience they deserve.
We pride ourselves on being able to safely accommodate all types of dogs — from intact males and females to seniors, reactive dogs, or those needing calmer social settings. Dogs are thoughtfully placed into small playgroups of 4–5 companions, curated based on energy levels, temperament, and comfort. Whether your dog prefers to romp with friends or lounge quietly on the porch, their stay is tailored entirely to their personality and needs.
